'67 And Mods, Physics Comparison

I have understood these are issues about 67's physics :
1) slip angle, it is linear(or similar trend) also beyond maximum slip angle
example:
at left a real car, at right gpl car

in other words: 67 cars are too forgiving at limit, tires should lose suddently grip over such angle , at that point lost grip must be unrecoverable
so much grip at tire limit allow to drive taking excessive advantage by drift, drifts frequently occur, and they are relatively easy going
futhermore, longitudinal speed doesn't decrease like it should do with whistling tires, drifts should cause more speed drop
therefore: too grip near maximum slip angle(at limit)
2) i read grip isn't changing by speed, a limit of gpl's tire model, so grip values in gpl are a compromise, therefore there's too low grip at low speed, and too much grip at high speed
Lee200 wrote mods haven't correct point 2 issue, beacuse may be necessary modify .exe to make grip changing by speed
so, what has been done to make more realistic feeling cars in mods? has been corrected slip angle behavior? (point 1 of this post)
I've tested ferrari 312 in '66 and '69 (with same setups and "no wing" in '69), I have felt more grip in '69, these mods haven't same physics? is 66' or '69 the more realistic mod?

Yep...that's me.
1:45 Watkins guy.
After a couple of weeks of work and reviewing replays and such yall sent me, I was able to string together a good (for me) set of laps.
Here is a quick replay of a 1:11 and a 1:10.37 which is my new record.
Same driving Force wheel, but I have set the gearbox to automatic for this particular race. ( I know, I know)
Remco, I tried your setup, but the car got very twitchy when I hit the brakes.....the rear end loved to slide out and put me in the weeds.
Anyhow, I'd love to hear comments on my progress at this stage....yes I know I need to go back to manual gearbox.

My 65 Clermont-Ferrand track shows 999 laps for fuel. and I am unable to remember the fix for it.
Anyone know the fix? Thanks.
